INITIAL CONSULTATION and ASSESSMENT
Our first step in serving our clients in selecting a home electronics system is to educate you on current technologies by asking questions before moving forward. We need to understand your wants, needs and expectations. We want to provide you with information about how things integrate, what they do for you, and cost expectation. It's a process of discovery where we work to understand your expectations. Depending on the scope of your project, this meeting can take between one and three hours.

DESIGN AGREEMENT
Engaging us for detailed design of your system
At our second meeting you'll be asked if you want us prepare a detailed system design and proposal. Everything up to this point costs you nothing. But our design and technical team will spend lots of time creating the drawings, schematics, task and equipment lists needed to determine exact costs and ensure that the system will function perfectly and be reliable.
If you choose to have us to prepare a detailed design, you'll be asked to sign our Design Agreement and pay a design fee. The fee is a small percentage of the estimated cost of your system and will be credited to your account if you decide to have HD Innovations install the system. Whether or not you choose HD Innovations the design documentation is yours to keep and use as you wish.

DETAILED PROPOSAL AND DESIGN
Creating the detailed design documents and costs for your system
Your System Designer will work to turn your Design summary into a set of documents that explains the equipment that will be used, where it will be installed, the user interfaces and programming required to make the system easy to function, and schematic drawings for the wiring. Depending on your system, the package may include cabinet drawings and marked up drawings of your home to help other trades follow our work.
This process generally takes five to ten days depending on the scale and complexity of your project. When it's done, Designer will schedule a meeting to present to you for review. This meeting usually lasts one to two hours and can be done in our showroom or at your home or office.

PROJECT AGREEMENT
Your sign-off on your detailed Design and Proposal
After we've discussed your Design and Proposal and made any necessary changes, we'll ask you to sign a formal Project Agreement. We don't use long involved contracts written by our attorneys. Our agreements are uncomplicated.
This agreement sets the terms of HD Innovations proposal, but most important, you'll be asked to sign-off each page of your proposal that describes what we plan for each room in your home. Doing so tells us that our Design has precisely met your expectations. It's an important part of our process. By signing-off on the Design and Proposal, you're telling us to distribute this information will our entire team, and the details of the design will drive all of the following work on your project.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INSTALLATION
Turning the your plans into reality includes
Scheduling, ordering, and expediting equipment for your project is the responsibility of our Operations Manager. If you have questions about the status of equipment for your project call or email. Scheduling, planning and supervising the installation of your project are the responsibility of HD Innovations Field Services Manager. During this phase, our Operations and Field Services managers drive your project. But your Designer stays 'in the loop' through routine updates from the field. If you have questions about your system design or want to discuss changes, your Designer is there to assist you. During this phase, our Field Services managers supervise your project. QUALITY ASSESSMENT
Making sure everything is just right
Throughout your project a several quality guarantee checks are made. These are reviewed at the completion of each installation phase. As the final equipment installation and calibration takes place, an exhaustive Quality Guarantee Checklist is filled out by the lead installer on your project.
If any aspect of your project is incomplete or unsatisfactory, a Punch List is created and corrective action is scheduled and performed by our field technicians. When all our QG checks and Punch List items are completed, your Designer is notified that the project is complete. He or she will contact you to schedule a completion and hand-over meeting

TRAINING
Making sure it really is easy to use
We pride ourselves on designing home electronics systems that are easy to use. But because most people have had plenty of frustrating experiences with home electronics, a lot of our training time is spent explaining what you don't have to do!
When our Field Services Manager contacts you to schedule your final equipment installation, he'll also schedule a time that's convenient for you to meet for training . Usually this is the day of or a day or two after the final installation and it usually lasts two hours. You and your family members will be shown how everything works and he'll stay until you're comfortable operating all the parts of your new system.

COMPLETION
Finishing strong and really finishing
Your Designer will be tracking the final installation and Quality Installation checks on your project. He or she will schedule an appointment to meet with you at your home a few days after completion. You'll go over the original proposal and design and confirm that all aspect of your system performs as specified.
We will l also review any changes you approved during the project as well as your invoices, payments, and final billing. If we've done everything as promised in our Project Agreement and if you're happy that the project is complete, you'll be asked to sign-off and make your final payment.
We'll also ask you to fill out our Customer Survey. This survey is a few questions that let us know how we did. This survey drives our efforts for constant improvement.
